Dr. Kristen Moore, PT, DPT
Dr. Moore earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology from Hope College (Holland, MI) in 2016. She attended Azusa Pacific University (Azusa, CA) for graduate school and received her DPT in 2019. While in the DPT program, Kristen presented her case study at the Tri-State Physical Therapy Conference in Las Vegas in October 2019. Her case report titled, “The Effects of Mat Pilates on Weight-Bearing Symmetry, Balance, and Respiratory Function in a Young Woman with Scoliosis” was published in the Journal of Yoga and Physiotherapy in November of 2019.
Dr. Moore has experience working in outpatient orthopedic clinics and teaching undergraduate students about Anatomy, Physiology, and Biomechanics. Currently, she provides physical therapy to patients who suffer traumatic neurologic injuries in the home and community settings. She is also a guest lecturer and adjunct faculty member at APU, assisting with cardiopulmonary, neuroanatomy, and physical agents labs.
Dr. Moore joined the PhysioU team while in PT school and now has the pleasure of building online simulations and e-learning modules for graduate students across the globe.
Dr. Moore loves cycling, Pilates, making skincare products, and being outdoors, specifically the mountains or the beach!
