Dr. Kamren Ackerman, PT, DPT, SCS, OCS
Kamren Ackerman graduated from Benedictine University in 2017 as a baseball student-athlete with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy.
In 2017, he was accepted into the Azusa Pacific University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and graduated December of 2020.
After DPT school, he completed an Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency at Kaiser Permanente in 2021, became a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2022, completed a Spine Rehabilitation Fellowship at Kaiser Permanente in 2022, became a Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) in 2023, and currently a Orthopaedic and Sports Rehab Fellow at Kaiser Permanente in 2023-2024.
He currently is a physical therapy outpatient clinic owner at Puer Physical Therapy in Montclair, CA and continues to provide care at Kaiser Permanente. He specializes in providing athletes the tools they need to succeed on and off the field or court. His vision is to motivate and move all individuals, regardless of the injury.
