Dr. Jordan Cossin PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, CSCS
Dr. Jordan Cossin graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Exercise Science in 2013. For two years he worked as a strength and conditioning coach assisting individuals reach their wellness and performance goals.
Following this period, Dr. Cossin was accepted into the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at Azusa Pacific University where he worked as a graduate student assistant and began his contributions to the Physio-U team by initiating the “Anatomy Series.”
Immediately after graduating from Azusa Pacific University’s DPT program in 2018, Dr. Cossin was inspired to continue his clinical education by pursuing and completing the Kaiser Permanente Southern California Orthopaedic Residency program; after which he became an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Due to the influence of his mentors and passion for athletics, Dr. Cossin went on to finish the Orthopaedic Fellowship and Sports Rehabilitation program through Kaiser Permanente in February of 2021.
With Physio-U, Dr. Cossin will be providing clinicially relevant research during “Mentoring Minutes” and contributing to the body of knowledge regarding evidence based practice and enhancing the patient’s experience.
